Files in Mangement Point CCM\Incoming - Backlog

I see lot of files in SMS\CCM\Incoming folder and SMS\CCM\Incoming\Bit sessions\Requests\Anonymous-null with files names like ({F66497D5-04B2-4C20-B983-C0CEE67DC498} in SCCM Management Point. I see there are new files coming and getting deleted from here. But lot of them are still present.

Can someone help to identify what these files are and advise how to clear up these files.

(Moved this question from Configuration Manager General forum as no one had responded)

Thanks

Sri

Did you enable Client Push installation in the sccm console.

Also do you see any errors in the mpcontrol.log

Sorry for the delay.

Yes we have enabled Client Push Installation in the console.

MP Control Log is looking good.

"Call to HttpSendRequestSync succeeded for port 80 with status code 200, text: OK"

Yes I know this is an old post, I’m trying to clean up all un-answered post.

Did you figure this out, if so what was the results?

BTW the line listed above is not an error, it is normal behavior.

Hello Sri,

Thanks for writing to the ConfigMgr forums.

I am sure if you are experiencing a backlog on the Management Point  there should be some functionality broken on the client side. I’ll recommend checking the MPSETUP.LOG and MPMSI.LOG

Search these logs with the word “incoming” and see if you get any thing unusual. Also if you do try removing the Management Point role and add it back, also if you have just have one MP then make sure when you reinstall it; You are adding that MP as a Default MP.

Let me know if this helps.

same problem here now...

Any resolution?

Remove/Add management point on SCCM Server?

Delete all files pending in CCM\Incoming? or by date deleting only older files?

Thanks

Dom
